online audio on ipad pro why doesnt it work?

I have the iPad pro 10.5-inch in 64GB.  I mainly use it to access EHR online, but since I am a healthcare practitioner with continuing ed to complete on a regular basis, I also need to be able to access my online courses and use them.... which is the issue.  I can log in, but audios and video will not play.  I have viewed Apple's take on the flash player, and I see their point.  However, what of offering an alternative?  If I can't have the simple capability to listen to mp4 audio files from an online source like teachable, then why did I get this thing?  I have also attempted use on Puffin and Dolphin browsers, to no avail.  AND, attempted download to Google Drive.  Nada. 

Can anyone help?  Thanks.  I want this recent purchase to be worth it!  There MUST be an easy solution I am missing?
