Can I set email to always send a response from the same box that received the original inbound mail?

Does it change it you hit Reply or are you sending a new e-mail? For a new e-mail, you can't set that without specifying one address in Mail/Preferences/Composing.

When I hit reply, it does NOT use the receiving box, but uses my default box for the reply.  That's my question - can I change that?

Mails are received in inbox , you can forward the same mail by taking the cursor on top menu bar at message and click on forward , the mail compose window opens and can fill up the credentials to send .

Or can do in a shortcut way , just hover the cursor towards right in mail you can click on right arrow and apply the same method to send mail .
