How can I change my Apple Support Communities p...

I just created my Apple Support Communities profile name, but now I want to change it. When I click on my Profile, there's an option to "Edit Profile," but it only let's me edit my name, email, and information about me (i.e., it doesn't let me edit my profile name). Is there any way to edit the profile name? If not, should I just delete my profile so that I can start from scratch? Thanks, in advance, for the help.

Do you mean "britto9"?  You can't change that.  Since you don't have any points/status accumulation just start from scratch.

what do you mean start from scratch? Could you explain? My full name comes up as user name and I don't want that.

Doing so means create a new apple ID, which can be annoying if you use it regularly on your devices.

Apple please give us the opportunity to change the profile name linked to the apple ID, pls.

Creating a new profile is one approach, but it presupposes you have access to another email address to use for it. Not everybody has or wants to create multiple email addresses. I believe in earlier versions of the forum software changing the user name was a much more involved task than it is with the current version. I'm assuming you wish to change your user name, although it is looks innocuous and anonymous which are the main aims. I will ask a host to make contact with you to see if they can assist.

I also want to change my username and I can't find a way to do it.  Starting from scratch is not an option.  Why the heck can't I just change my username?!

The site isn't geared up to allow users to keep changing their usernames whenever they feel like it, but I can certainly let the hosts know you would like the opportunity to change yours. Hopefully you will hear from them soon.

I would like to change my profile name as well.

I didn't know I had signed in another appleid that I don't use anymore.

Now I can't choose this name for my primary appleid, which I really want to use.

I would like to change my username too! My son created a username for himself not knowing it was logged in as me. Can you send the host a request for me too please? Many thanks
