Apple Watch Not Showing App Icon When I Get Not...

Hi, on my Apple Watch Series 3, whenever I get notifications, the app icon never loads. I'm not sure what the issue is. I've tried turning it off and on, and then doing a soft reset as well. I really don't want to have to erase the entire thing and start all over if possible. See my screenshot below of the issue:
