Cannot connect to Washington Post crossword aft...

I can't connect to the Washington Post crossword after the latest update.  It just shows on the screen a text "advertising information" and a little "x," which is not the x used to delete something.  It never connects to the crossword.  It still works on my iPod, but not the iPad.  How can I fix this?

Chances are that the app developer has not updated the app to work with iOS 10. I suggest that you contact them to see if and when they plan on updating it.

I have the same problem and Washington Post's suggestion is to clear Safari history.

I did that and had no results.
