Macbook Pro Mid

I'm having a major issue with my 2015 MBPro Retina Mid-2015... I haven't used it in about 2 months and apparently it hasn't been plugged in to the charger all that time. Yes, it's a built-in battery.

I plugged it into the charger, the light turns green briefly then turns amber. After a couple hours, it's still amber and the laptop still won't power up.

I've tried the Shift+Control+Option+Power button trick I've read on other threads.

I've tried CMD+Option+P+R  (Which of course does nothing, just in case someone may suggest this)

When I do press Shift+Control+Option+Power and release those buttons, the power charger light turns from Amber to Green for a second, then returns to Amber. Not sure if that means anything.

I've left the darned thing plugged into the charger overnight but nothing changed. It just won't power up. There is a little "heat" generated underneath the machine that is expected during a charge or some actual use. I've even tried plugging in my iPhone to the USB port to see if the phone would start charging but it didn't do anything.

Now I wish I would've just left the darned thing plugged into the charger all these past 2 months even if I hadn't planned using it.
