FileVault recovery key not issued when selectin...
Greetings,
I just turned on FileVault on my iMac (macOs sierra 10.12.5) and I selected the iCloud option instead of the local
recovery key one. I'm seeing the following message during the encryption process: "A recovery key has been set" but no key was issued at all.
From the Help documentation itself, I would have assumed that when selecting the iCloud option I wouldn't have to use a recovery key at all.
Is this cause for concern or just an incorrect message in the FileVault UI ? (or in the documentation)
I think the iCloud ID is the Recovery key that has been set.
