Internal speaker and bluetooth not showing up

i have an iMac (21.5 inch late 2009) running OS Sierra 10.12.6.  I recently noticed that i do not have sound coming out of my internal speakers, and when I go to preferences, internal speakers do not show up. The only thing that shows up is headphones.  I have external speakers that are working.  I've noticed that the bluetooth icon at the top of my computer is greyed out, with a squiggly line through it, and when I hover over it, it says Bluetooth Not Available.  However, I am still using the wireless keyboard that came with the computer.  A few years ago, my mouse that came with the computer stopped working, and I am using a wireless logitech mouse, and it's working.  Bluetooth is not showing up in my system preferences, either.

Any suggestions?

Reset the PRAM and then retest. iMac SMC and PRAM reset

Also, when I restart my computer, the sound that comes on when coming on, DOES come out of my computer... what gives?

Nope.... that didn't work.  Headphones is the only thing that is showing up in Sound Output.  The start up sound does come out of my computer.  I have external speakers plugged into my headphones, and do have sound, and I don't want to mess it up so I don't even have that!  So, I'm mainly just curious.

Also the thing about my bluetooth disappearing! I use a wireless logitech, but I plug a little thing into a USB port, so I'm assuming its not utilizing my computers bluetooth.  The mouse that came with this iMac stopped working several years ago.  However, I am still using the keyboard that came with my computer, and I'm assuming that's bluetooth?

Verify nothing is plugged into your headphone jack. If nothing is please reference OS X Yosemite: Adjust your computer’s sound output settings

You did not mention you are using  a Logitech mouse. First check to see if it's a Bluetooth device, you will have to look at the original packaging or contact Logitech for that. If it is a Bluetooth device remove the "little thing into a USB port" and reset the PRAM again. Then use How to set up your Apple wireless mouse, keyboard, and trackpad - Apple Support to pair the device with your iMac.
