MacBook Pro Late 2016 Battery Drain during Sleep
The battery on my brand new MacBook Pro constantly drains when not in use - if I put the computer to sleep at 100% and leave it unplugged, it will lose about 5-10% of its charge for every hour it is unplugged WITHOUT EVER opening the lid. It seems the computer is waking up at regular intervals based on the console logs below. Power Nap is turned OFF... and Wake for Bluetooth is also turned OFF... why does this keep happening? The computer can't be unplugged for more than 8 hours or it will drain itself without any use at all!

(System Management Control(SMC) is responsible for Battery management: try this first if you haven't Reset the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac - Apple Support
I have reset SMC and PRAM and still have the issue. Closing the lid also won't sleep the computer, so if I closet the lid at night it is completely dead int he morning. I have to tell it to sleep, but even doing that I get the slow drain he is getting. None of the apps show up in energy as preventing sleep.
Have you had any luck diagnosing? Im about to return mine. I have tried resetting SMC but don't know how to pull the logs you got, here.
I've experienced the same drain issue with my late 2016 MBP 15".
In the bluetooth setting > advanced there was a checkbox marked "Allow bluetooth devices to wake up the computer". I turned this one off. I Will check the logs again tomorrow to see if the message "com.apple.bluetooth.interval" is gone. Than on with the next problem.
Well the disabling of the "Allow bluetooth devices to wake up the computer" did the trick. When I went to sleep last night my MacBook Pro had 46% battery. This morning when I opened the lid it was 45%. This is something I can live with.
I am having he same problem with my brand new MacBook Pro late 2016. I have no third party apps installed. It is exactly as it came from Apple. When I close the lid (or put it to sleep from the Apple menu), battery keeps draining. I put it to sleep last night at 8:00pm with 30% battery remaining and when I open checked today morning at 6:00am, the battery was at 2%. I have "Allow bluetooth devices to wake up the computer" turned off already but it doesn't seem to have any impact. I am working with Apple Support since last 3 days but no solution yet. I have done SMC and PRAM reset already without any luck.
Have you find a solution to this?
I almost have the same problem with my 13" MBP with touch bar, battery is drained 2.5% per hour in sleep. Latest Mac OS Sierra update is installed. "Allow Bluetooth devices to wake up the computer" was enabled, I will disable it to see if it helps.
Note: I think 2.5 % per hour is too much. Even my old VAIO laptop which its battery gives me 1.5h at most when turned on (with a Linux distro ((elementary OS)) ), it still has 15% battery after 48h in sleep mode!
I solved this problem on my macbook pro 2016. Just turn off TCPKeepAliveDuringSleep. Open terminal and enter command: sudo pmset -b TCPKeepAliveDuringSleep 0
I hope it can be useful
This has been happening to me too since buying my MBP in Dec 2016. I haven't tried some of the fixes listed here but I will. However, I found a great workaround. I turn off the wi-fi when before I close the lid and it truly lets my MBP sleep and preserves the battery.
Hi, Ive tried this, not certain if I'm doing it correct. Once the terminal comes up, I don't see any on or off selection, What I did was copy what you suggest and pasted it, if thats what you mean. Could you be so kind and giving me the exact steps of what your remedy of have to turn it off? Like opening up terminal and going from there. Thanks so much!
