can i go from OS 10.6 to OS 10.10

can i go from OS 10.6 to OS 10.10.  my adobe flash player won't update unless I update to 10.9 or higher.  Can I?

According to tech specs you’ve mentioned, your computer can be upgraded not to 10.10, but to the latest version of macOS, which is 10.12 Sierra. Just use the Mac App Store (it’s available in Mac OS X 10.6.6 and later).

Yosemite is no longer available. With a core i5 you should be able to go to Sierra (10.12), but to be completely sure we would neeed to know exactly what model your Mac is. Open Applications/Utilities/System Information and note the 'Model Identifier' which is the second line of the overview it should open to.

You need to have access to the Mac App Store to update to anything beyond Snow Leopard.

You need 10.6.6 at least to get access to the Mac App Store.  If you have access to the Mac App Store, you can update. While your Mac can update to Sierra, you'll need to update 10.11 El Capitan first as you cannot update to Sierra directly from Snow Leopard.

OSx 10.10  Yosemite is no longer available to update to. So you'll need to skip it and go directly to El Capitan.

From there you can choose to update to 10.12 Sierra if you want to, or stay at El Capitan. 

Follow the steps here to update to el 10.11 Capitan.
