how to recover my photos from icloud?

Hi,

I reset all my settings because I was having issues with my Iphone volume. I can't seem to access my photos or recover my photos from icloud. How can I recover my photo's from icloud as that is where they were being backed up.

Welcome to the Apple community.

You would need to restore your phone from your backup in order to recover any photos in it. You can do this by connecting your phone to your computer, opening iTunes and choosing restore. Once the setup assistance commences, you should choose the option to restore from an iCloud backup.

I call BS. I'm on iTunes right now and there is no "restore" to choose.

Plug your phone -> Open iTunes -> Click on the name of your phone on the left -> Click Summary tab -> see the Restore option under Version.

First, check if their physical footprint still exists. Go to Settings > General > Usage and check the amount of storage available, do you notice that there is a lot of used storage ? You can also check it through iCloud, which might show used memory labeled as Other.

I lost all my pictures and videos after jailbreaking my phone, yet iCloud showed that they are still taking physical memory (labeled as Other - iCloud did not recognise my pics or vids anymore). This means they cannot be viewed via Camera Roll but they are still stored in the phone.

To fix that, download iFunBox ( https://www.i-funbox.com ) and use it to locate and extract the images from the phone (no need for iCloud to access the phone). I managed to extract all my photos from the iphone to an external USB, which accumulated to over 20GB of photos and videos.

Use this method and you should recover your photos and videos with no previous backup. If your phone shows that there is a lot of empty storage, then your photos might have actually been completely removed.

How can I recover pictures from my iPhone iCloud ??

Sign into Settings/iCloud and turn on Photos syncing.

Is there a way to only access one or two pictures from your iPhone? I don't want them all on my phone but do want to view a couple.
