I have a wired USB apple keyboard and logitech mouse.

Update: some improvement noted by plugging USB into tower instead of into the keyboard. Both still freeze, but it gives me 2 -5 minutes between freezes.

Try to in safe mode boot then normal boot if it works.

Also it's worth resetting SMC as well as NVRAM which could solve the problem.
