Problem with Time Capsule after Sierra Upgrade

I have a MacBook Air (13". Mid 2012) which may or may not be relevant. I've recently upgraded to Sierra OSX10.12.6. Since then Time Capsule back-ups have stopped. Using the AirPort Utility the Air 'sees' the Airport Capsule but when I try and use Time Machine Preferences to 'Select Backup Drive' I get an error message saying 'There was a problem connecting to the server "xxx_timecapsule". Check the server name or IP address, and then try again...'

Looking from a different MacBook Pro, also running 10.12.6 I can 'see' the Airport Capsule and access the back-up sparsebundle. So given backups were OK pre-upgrade to Sierra and that I can see the drive from another computer happy the Time Capsule is not at fault. Also back-up from this second computer is working fine so happy it's not to do with the WiFi router I'm using.

I've deleted the com.apple.TimeMachine.plist but still no joy.

Anyone got any ideas?
