MacBook Pro firmware pin

My MacBook Pro is locked. When I switch it on, there appears a white screen with the apple logo. "Your computer is locked"  is written on the screen. Later, it asks me to enter a 4-digit pin, which I dont have. It was sent to an Apple seller, and I am asked to contact Apple directly for firmware pin.
