iPad Pro 12.9 charging issues after installing ...

We updated our new iPad 12.9 yesterday and almost immediately noticed charging issues. Sometimes it won't show that it's charging when plugged into the wall or computer. Sometimes it charges to 2% or 4% and then just sits at that percentage. Then sometimes it charges at a god awful rate. (Which is currently happening as i type. It has been on the charger for 2 hours and is at 12%...)

The iPad is in immaculate condition and the nearest apple store is over 2 hours away....

Has anyone else experienced this?

Any quick fixes?
