Possible Spam. Please help.

Hello, community. I recieved an e-mail from "Apple support". In this e-mail is specified that somebody logged in to my iCloud in United States. I'm don't live there, so I worried. The e-mail had links which they suppose to redirect to Apple's official page but they actually redirect to Twitter, so I suspect that the e-mail is SPAM. Does somebody know the address of Apple or the format they normally use to redact e-mails? Thank you.

PS I tried to leave a screenshot of the email but it doesn't seem to work :(

NaffyChocolat,

It is likely spam, but to be certain, you should consider changing your Apple ID iCloud password.  Preferably, use a browser on your computer to change it.

Do NOT follow any links in the email.

Let us know how it turns out.

Since you supplied use with a minimal amount of information, my best guess is that it is spam.

Hi this is to

Naffychocolat

I have also recieved this password reset request you stated that it is most likely spam.

So most likely meaning that it is,why would you direct a person to change their password anyway ?,

Any other large company like paypal, microsoft, google tell you not to respond to it as they dont send password requests or they only address us by our full names, they also request info or a screen shot so they can follow it up in the interests of their customers and their own security.

You suggesting changing our passwords anyway,

Does that suggest security is compromised ?,and that its up to us to only worry about the security of your website.

If you are unsure whether an email is genuine or not it's sometimes best to err on the side of caution.

and that its up to us to only worry about the security of your website.

Not sure whose website you are referring to, but we are fellow users, you're not talking to Apple nor iTunes Support on here.

Hey! I get one of these 1 or 2 times a day. Its so annoying!!

Anywhere we can report these to?

Yes : reportphishing@apple.com
