Location is incorrect

I normally use my iMac with wired networking and with the wifi turned off - because the iMac weighs a ton and hence isn't going anywhere, plus I want to maximise network speed and minimise potential connectivity issues.  But when I use wired networking, Location Services reports my location as being where my ISP is located, which is the other end of the country.  If I switch wifi on, the location is reported correctly.  This is as reported in Chrome when I allow it to use location services.

So I'm wondering, if I want to stick with wired networking , can I manually enter or correct my physical location somewhere in macOS?

I couldn't find anything to set the location in Chrome, so I'm guessing it just passes on whatever the OS tells it.

I'm using a 2009 27" iMac, macOS Sierra, latest Chrome.

No user override settings for location services when using wired-only connection.
