Spam addresses in Mail address bar

When using Mac Mail I type in an email address into my address bar. The autocomplete functionality shows a list of similar addresses allowing me to complete quicker.

Within these addresses are hundreds of spam address. How do I remove these?

They do not exist in my contacts or in my previous recipients directory.

The email account is clean of all spam. And has only a few months of emails in it.
