Update a very old macbook pro?
I have a macbook pro that is very old, from 2008 i think. And it´s updated with OS X 10.9.5, i´m afraid that if i update it to the latest it will crash. I have no idea so i thought i would ask someone here what they think i should do.
Your 2008 computer does not meet the requirements of MacOS Sierra, the "latest" OS.
MacOS Sierra - Technical Specifications
It appears that it may meet the requirements of El Capitan, an older version of OS.
OS X El Capitan - Technical Specifications
Ok, so do you think my computer will be fine if i update it with El Capitan?
I don't know. You have not told us anything about your computer specs. If it meets the requirements in the link I provided yes. If it does not meet the requirements in the link then no.
