Watch OS 4 Not controlling Music

Hi,

Recently upgraded to Watch OS 4. I play music to my wireless headphones (not apple ones) and if I start the music playing on my iPhone and then switch to my watch, whist the screen displays the music app, when I press pause nothing happens. When I press pause on my wireless headphones, nothing happens.

Any one else got this issue and does anyone know if I am doing anything wrong here or is it a bug?
