AppleMusic songs disappeared after upgrade iTun...

I've just updated to iTunes 12.6.2.20 on my MacBookAir (early 2015) running MacOS Sierra 10.12.6 and now I cannot see any of my AppleMusic songs and albums added to my Library this year. These music haven't been downloaded just added to the Library. I can see them on my iPhone and on my other Mac (running the same OS and iTunes version). If I search for the specific songs (at least the ones I know...) in AppleMuic I see them already marked to be added (indicating whether I want to download it) but when I right click to "to to album" it takes me to my library where the item is not found and nothing is matched. I have iCloud Music Library also. I've experienced syncing issues in the last days: songs added to playlists were syringing with a delay. Please help me recover the AppleMusic songs disappeared. This integrated way of working what the selling point for AppleMusic for me that integrated to may curated 10 years old Library Thank you!!!!

Are you signed into your Apple ID in iTunes?

Is iCloud Music Library enabled under iTunes > Preferences > General?

the weird thing is that this issue only appears on this machine and not on my work device (MacBookPro)....

On this machine I have my entire 50GB Library of own, imported songs.

Hmm, if you have the entire 50Gb library of own imported songs is that supposed to be a library isolated from Apple Music so you don't get any accidental DRM changes? All of your iCloud Music Library enabled devices/libraries should get the same list of content, although there can be differences in what is downloaded and what is only in the cloud.

Have you tried a reboot or reinstalling iTunes?

I have not experienced DRM changes, yet, or did not recognized them.

I've tried rebooting and refreshing iCloud Music Library multiple times.

Reinstalling iTunes means i delete the iTunes app from Applications folder? then download it agin from Apple Downloads here Apple - Support - Downloads? How this will affect the availability of the own Library? I mean does it keep/retrieve the ratings, loves etc.?

As long as it is the same version or better you can install over the top without removing anything. Your library should be unaffected. See Re: Re: iTunes 12.6.2 won't run for further advice if required. If you cannot get your library to display correctly with this build you may want to revert to iTunes 12.6.1.

Thank you for the ideas to help me solving this. A funny thing turned out to be the cause of the issue: after the update of the iTunes, the the default view switched from All music to Only downloaded music. And in the meantime this menu behaves differently than the other menu bar options usually in Apple products (as long as I know). The 2 menu items under each other are in a binary relationships, and I did not realized this for a week. So I was fooled by this and reinstalled the OS... but anyway, I've found the solution. As an usability expert, I find is sad that Apple has such inconsistencies in usage flow.
