column browser forgets its size

In the latest update, 12.7.0.166, itunes always forgets how big I made the column browser and make it only 3 elements tall.

This is uselessly short. So, I drag it up to 8 elements tall or something like that, and that works… until I go to a playlist and come back to 'songs', then bam the column browser is back to 3 elements tall. Or if I quit, or switch to looking at Movies, or turn the column browser off and on again… anything. Every time it reconstructs the column browser window, it comes out 3 elements tall.

Has anyone else seen this, and does anyone have an idea what to do about it?

Failing that, how can I install an older version that doesn't force me to take unnecessary steps every few minutes?

Is apple planning on getting rid of the column browser, which is the greatest usability feature iTunes has? Or hopefully they're working on improving it and just screwed up on something… that should have been caught in the first 20 seconds of testing if they were actually looking at the column browser.

Yep, exactly the same problem here. I'm expecting a fix pretty quickly for this.

This is beyond annoying as one who uses the Column Browser for my Songs view (the only view I use) and in all my Playlists.
