Hidden mailbox problem

I created a problem for myself by attempting to simultaneously import two archived mailboxes at the same time. One came through as expected, and appeared in a new Import mailbox among the list of folders in Mail. The other did not. When I attempted to Import it again, it tells me that the folder is already there, in Import-2 mailbox. However, that mailbox does not appear and nothing I've tried to far (deleting the Envelope Index files, .plist files, etc.) has made it appear. I still have the archived Mailbox, so I am not in doubt of having lost the data, but without being able to see it it does me little good. Searches for messages I know are in that mailbox also yield nothing, so I suspect it is a spurious folder that Mail is seeing without really being there. It does not show up either in any of the lists of folders in the various folders of folders in ~Library/Mail/V4/...

Any suggestions appreciated!
