Just downloaded Sierra

Hi there - I loaded Sierra yesterday and now Skype won't open! Has anyone else had this problem? Very very annoying!!! Thanks

I had the same problem but I fixed it by re-installing.

Is your version 7.37?

Download and install the latest version.

   Get Skype for Mac

Thanks - I did download and it didn't seem to make any difference - but the old "turn it off - turn it back on" worked of course!!! Cheers!

I have this issue too on a brand new iMac.  When I first loaded Skype everything was fine, but the newest version just won't connect.  I can send chat messages with it, however.  Maddening.  I know thousands of others are having this problem but when you confront Microsoft they give you some stupid canned response that asks you to delete a couple of files and re-install.  Has absolutely no effect.
