Putting iTunes music into my computer

This may be a dumb question but I'm trying to help a friend.  She has purchased music from itunes from her cell phone.  She has changed phones and is trying to get the music to a memory stick so she can listen to it in her car while driving (she has limited data on her phone).  Not knowing how to do this, she downloaded iTunes onto her home computer and when she goes to that and signs in, all of her purchased music is there in iTunes.   Will the music automatically save to the music section of 'my computer'/'file explorer' so she can then transfer it to a 'stick' or how does it get into the music section on her computer?  Hopefully I am making sense of all of this but any help would be appreciated.

Drag the songs from the iTunes application window or library to the thumbdrive.
