The Nature Conservancy published Natural Climate Solutions
大自然保護協會（TNC）及其它15個研究機構的專家團隊日前發布《以自然為本的氣候變化解決方案》的一項研究表明，到2030年，通過增加森林麵積、改善土壤健康、及紅樹林和泥炭地保護等以自然為本的方式，可幫助全球每年減少約113億噸的溫室氣體排放，提供使全球變暖低於2攝氏度所需的減排量的37%，有效防止全球性氣候變暖的進一步加劇。
The peer-reviewed study, “Natural Climate Solutions”, led by scientists from The Nature Conservancy and 15 other institutions, found that natural climate solutions such as planting more trees, improving soil health, and protecting mangrove and peatlands could reduce global greenhouse gas emissions by 11.3 billion tonnes per year by 2030. Nature could cost-effectively deliver over a third (37%) of greenhouse gas emissions reductions required by 2030 to prevent dangerous levels of global warming.

This is equivalent to a complete stop on the burning of oil, worldwide.
若無成本約束，采用這些以自然為本的氣候變化解決方案，每年可實現的二氧化碳減排量高達238億噸，較此前預估高出近三分之一。
If there is no cost constraints, natural climate solutions could deliver emissions reductions of 23.8 billion tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent per year, a third (30%) more than previous estimates.
從單位減排成本來看，通過以自然為本的方式實現減排的經濟成本遠低於傳統的減排方式。
From the perspective of unit costs of emission reduction, the natural way to achieve the goals is much lower than the traditional way of emissions reduction.

研究團隊表示，若中國實施10項以自然為本的氣候變化應對方案，即可有效減少本國超過6%的溫室氣體排放。 若全麵貫徹實施這些方案，整個國家的溫室氣體減排可高達約15%。
The research shows that China could cost-effectively cut its greenhouse gas emissions by more than 6%, by cost-effectively deploying 10 natural climate solutions. Full implementation of these measures would cut the country’s greenhouse gas emissions by 15%.

Etihad Airways and Alibaba’s Tmall and Alitrip recently debut a specially branded aircraft livery for the 11.11 Global Shopping Festival 2017.
陸續有五架搭載“2017雙11”特別塗裝的阿提哈德客機將從阿布紮比正式啟航，前往北京、上海、成都、香港四個大中華目的地。
Five aircraft emblazoned with this special 11.11 exterior will depart from Abu Dhabi travelling to four destinations in Greater China - Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu and Hong Kong.
五架客機將在接下來一個月的時間內，攜天貓雙11全球狂歡節塗裝前往阿提哈德全球航線網絡的超過40個全球目的地。
In the coming month, these five aircraft will carry this unique branding to over 40 cities across Etihad Airways global network.

Lucky guests who book travel to the UK during the promotion will be eligible for tickets to see Manchester City play Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium in March 2018.

Elements of the 11.11 promotion will be seen at the football club’s home, the Etihad Stadium, as well as in Abu Dhabi International Airport and in Etihad Airways’ inflight magazine, Atlas. These efforts are designed to drive the promotion of the 11.11 event which is aligned to Tmall’s concept of ‘Global Buying, Global Selling’.

BASF inaugurates new production plant in Nanjing
巴斯夫在南京化學工業園區的一套業內領先的生物法丙烯酰胺生產裝置日前落成投產。
BASF celebrated recently the opening of a new state-of-the-art production plant for biocatalyzed acrylamide at its site in Nanjing Chemical Industrial Park, Nanjing.
丙烯酰胺用於生產水溶性絮凝劑，讓汙水處理、造紙、以及礦物加工和原油采收率的提升更加高效、更節省資源。
Acrylamide is used in the production of water-soluble flocculation aids that make wastewater treatment and papermaking, as well as mineral processing and enhanced oil recovery, more efficient and less resource-intensive.
通過投資建設這一全資生產裝置，巴斯夫將進一步提高優質聚丙烯酰胺的生產能力，該裝置每年可生產超過 5 萬噸丙烯酰胺，以滿足高耗水行業日益增長的需求，確保對亞太區特別是中國客戶的穩定供應。
With this investment in its wholly-owned BioACM plant in Nanjing, BASF is strengthening its production set-up for reliable and high-quality supply of polyacrylamide to customers in Asia Pacific, especially in China. The plant has a capacity of more than 50,000 tons of biocatalyzed acrylamide per year.

With this successful start-up in China, BASF now has three state-of-the-art production facilities located in key markets worldwide.

Seagate Technology plc recently reported financial results for the quarter ended September 29, 2017.
本財季，公司收入26億美元，毛利率28.0%，淨利潤1.81億美元，每股攤薄收益0.62美元。
For the first quarter, the Company reported revenue of $2.6 billion, gross margin of 28.0%, net income of $181 million and diluted earnings per share of $0.62.
第一財季中，公司運營現金流為2.37億美元，並以股息和股份回購形式支付股東約3.5億美元。
During the first quarter, the Company generated $237 million in cash flow from operations and returned approximately $350 million to shareholders in the form of dividends and share repurchases.
截止本財季末，公司現金、現金等價物的資金總額約為23億美元，公司發行了2.89億股普通股。
Cash and cash equivalents totaled approximately $2.3 billion at the end of the quarter. There were 289 million ordinary shares issued and outstanding as of the end of the quarter.
希捷科技首席執行官Dave Mosley表示，本財季的財務表現反映了希捷強大的執行能力和市場對希捷存儲產品組合的需求。希捷交付了創紀錄水平的出貨EB量，公司收入和利潤均實現了連續增長。
“The results of our performance this quarter reflect solid execution and market demand for our storage product portfolio,” said Dave Mosley, Seagate’s chief executive officer. “Seagate delivered record levels of exabyte shipments and generated sequential growth in revenue and profit.”
