messages

in my MacBook Air, messages are not working, I don't know if its because I'm running iOS 11 beta on my iPhone, if i go to settings on messages it won't let me start session on my apple ID account, says "an error occurred during authentication" my password is correct and email, any help pls ty ill appreciated.
