Yosemite firewall blocks Java Web Start applica...

I’ve installed Java Runtime Environment (jre-8u141) in order to run a trading application that runs on the Mac, not in the browser.

Every time I launch the application from a link on my bank’s secure, log-in protected website I have to allow System Preferences/Security & Privacy to open the .jnlp because it’s from “an unidentified developer.”

Asking the bank why the application isn’t signed by “a valid certificate authority” probably won’t get me anywhere; they guarantee the safety of my account and my information as long as I exercise due diligence in protecting my ID and PW.

I can’t add Java or Java Web Start to the list of Firewall exceptions because it doesn’t appear in /Applications. Is turning the firewall off my only choice if I want Java Web Start to launch the .jnlp without going through Security & Privacy?

If it's unsigned then OS X Yosemite- Open an app from an unidentified developer. After you do this once you should not need to do it again.
