Music is stuck on "repeat"

On my iPad Air I can no longer listen to a Music playlist without manually changing songs. Whatever song I choose first just keeps repeating. The only control I see is "Shuffle All" and that doesn't help. I'll try a hard reset and see if it helps, but, in the meantime, does anyone have a suggestion? I see similar questions have been asked here before, but I didn't see any answers.

Tap the playing song (bottom right in the app) so that it's details are shown (and if holding the iPad in portrait mode swipe the song's details up) and you should see a 'repeat' button, tap that to turn it off : Music repeat
