Has anyone else had their Apple Watch series 1 ...

My touchscreen is going darker by the day, more dark in the center than the edges. It looks to me like the screen is slowly failing. It's to the point that I cannot see anything on the watch face when outdoors during the day.

• I have made sure the brightness is at 100%.
• I have tried restarting both the watch and my iPhone.
• I have unpaired and paired.
• I have searched the forums and this community.
• I have not dropped the watch, ever.
• The watch has never been wet.

Has this happened to anyone else? It is about 2 years old. I suppose I should bring it to a repair center and see what can be done?
