Mac mini (2011) upgrade to macOS Sierra

I thought I had successfully upgraded my Mac mini to macOS Sierra. The App Store indicates that macOS Sierra is installed when I click on it. However, "About This Mac" says that I am still running Mac OS X 10.7.5

Any ideas on what's going on?
