Hello everyone. I NEED HELP! My ipad mini just stopped working on me. I had it fully charged and turned it on to use it and when I went to unlock it it would not do so. It also will not let me cancel or anything on the screen. I have tried hard reset and when it powers back up the touch screen is still unresponsive. So I tried to plug in to my computer to restore it and of course my mini hasnt been synced to this computer because it is new. So it says "to allow access please respond on your ipad" and I obviously cant because I cant get it to unlock. So any information or suggestions to help fix this would be GREATLY appreciated.

Try this  - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased.

Coretechs the link you sent worked perfectly for me. The only thing is now I have the ipad restored to its original factory settings and when it powers on it says "slide to setup" and the touchscreen is unresponsive so it will not allow me to slide to setup

i have the same exact problem did all tricks didn't work, i'm hoping a restore from iTunes would help but only if i get to access it in the 1st place!
