Can i regain files

In an attempt to place a folder with a name identical to another one wich was already there (but written with small letters), i pressed replace by a mistake and a big portion of the files in the previous created one got removed and replaced with the once from the newly created folder. Is there any way i can regain the ones that got replaced?

Restore them from your Time Machine backup.
