TC Changed Name of Disk Back to "Data"?

When I set up my TC a few days ago, I erased the Disk and in the process changed the name from Data (previous owner I assumed) to something else.  I noticed that recently my TM backups were from a day ago. I went to manually start it and it told me my Time Capsule was not available.  It was though and green  per AU.

I went in and noticed the Disk name was again "Data". I had to go into TM and create the task again and all is fine. TM must have been looking for the old Disk name.

Strange.
