iTunes.... I only want to delete one song

On my iPhone 7 Plus, I have created a playlist from the huge library I have downloaded into my iPhone via itunes on my iMac.

This playlist, was NOT created on my iMac, but on the iPhone with iTunes.

I had 30 songs on my playlist. I go to one song on the playlist, and select the song on the bottom where it shows the name, pause, play, etc.

I selectt he little dots on the right under the volume slider....so I can delete this particular song.

Sure, it's deleted. I confirm "delete song".

Fine.

And the rest of the songs on the playlist?

GONE.

I am not and never will subscribe to or connected to Apple Music. I do everything manually with my own MP3s.

Can anyone explain why this thing happens?? A solution would be appreciated.

Please...don;t tell me to just find the songs again and add them, or create the playlist on the iMac and simply sync it with the iPhone. I should not have to do this. There is no reason why every song was deleted when I only want to delete one song.

Thanks

Unfortunately I am unable to reproduce your issue, if I select one song for removal from a playlist, it is the only one removed.

So Apple removed all the "not nice" words I used.

Ah, censorship.

How about I remind anyone reading this how Not smart, Not intuitive, Not reasonable, Not logical, not brilliant and definitely not normal this issue is.

Let's see the bots or "host' change this.
